Adding your Book series

By the end of this article, you’ll be able to:

1. Understand the Books section.

2. Use it in conjunction with the Metrics section.

This section is especially useful if you're advertising series, although you can also include your standalone book data if you wish to.

In the Books section, you'll be able to store your series' data and use it in your Metric Groups to calculate:

• Net Royalty Rate

• Sales Revenue Multiplier

• Reads Revenue Multiplier

Whenever you modify series data here, the changes automatically apply to all Metric Groups that use this series.

If you haven't yet used the calculator in the Metric section yet, this section will look like this:

Follow the steps to insert your series in this section, and it should look similar to the below:

If you've previously used the calculator in the Metrics section, your saved series will already appear here, ready to be applied to any new Metric Groups you create.

As mentioned earlier, updating your series data here will automatically update it across all Metric Groups using this data—as long as you select "Yes":

If you've already set up your Metric Groups and saved your series data, the final step is ensuring your bidding rules are set up!
